Cookies Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

Small Biz Tools Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website to make it function, keep it secure, remember choices, support purchases, and, where you agree, measure website and marketing performance.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help a website remember information about your visit, such as items in your basket, your preferences, or whether you have accepted cookies.

We may also use similar technologies, including pixels, scripts, local storage and tags.

How we use cookies

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

Category	Purpose	Consent needed?
Strictly necessary	Enable core website functions, security, checkout, payments, basket functionality and saving cookie preferences	No, where strictly necessary
Functional	Remember preferences and improve how the website works	We will ask where required
Analytics	Help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it	Yes, unless a legal exception applies and we provide the required information and opt-out
Marketing	Measure marketing activity, including email campaign engagement and purchases made after clicking an email link	Yes

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website and checkout to work. For example, they may be used to:

Keep items in your WooCommerce basket.
Process your checkout and payment.
Keep the website secure.
Remember your cookie-preference choice.
Prevent fraud or technical errors.

Because these cookies are necessary to provide services you request, they cannot be switched off through our cookie banner. You can still block them through your browser, but parts of the website may not work correctly.

WooCommerce cookies

We use WooCommerce to operate our online store and checkout. WooCommerce may use cookies that support basket and checkout functions, including cookies such as:

woocommerce_items_in_cart
woocommerce_cart_hash
wp_woocommerce_session_[unique code]

These are generally used to maintain your shopping session and remember the items you add to your basket.

MailPoet and email marketing

We use MailPoet to manage email subscriptions and send marketing emails.

If you actively choose to receive marketing emails, MailPoet stores information such as your email address, subscription status and consent record. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

Where enabled and where you have accepted the relevant cookies, MailPoet may use cookies or similar technologies to:

Measure engagement with marketing emails.
Attribute a purchase to a link clicked in a marketing email.
Support abandoned-cart communications.
Measure visits or interactions after an email link is clicked.

MailPoet cookies or similar technologies may include:

mailpoet_revenue_tracking
mailpoet_subscriber
mailpoet_page_view

We will not use non-essential MailPoet tracking cookies unless you have given the required consent through our cookie banner.

Payment providers

When you choose a payment method, our payment providers e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Klarna or Clearpay, may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to process payment, prevent fraud, and meet security requirements.

Their use of cookies and personal data is governed by their own privacy and cookie notices. Please review the relevant provider’s policy for more information.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit the website, you can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.

You can change your preferences at any time by selecting the blue Cookie icon on the website homepage.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect parts of the website, particularly the basket, checkout or payment process.
